Jeshua Horca
After more than a decade in media, I’ve learned two important things:
First, you can never have too much coffee.
Second, please hit Command + S.
Good art can tell a story. I can help you make one.

Associate Video Director
October 2025 – Current
Lakepointe Church
I currently live in the space between ‘Ministry Goals’ and ‘Creative Chaos.’
I lead a team of video pros to produce content that supports our church’s mission. I spend my days removing roadblocks for my team, giving feedback that actually makes sense, and ensuring our stories land with an emotional punch.
I’m a hands-on leader. I don’t just point at things; I get involved in the cinematography, the lighting, and the edit to make sure the work is excellent. Ultimately, I’m here to tell stories that matter and help people find Jesus (and make sure we look good doing it).

As the ‘final coat of paint’, my job was to take raw edits and turn them into polished, high-end content that actually looked finished.
I led the Motion Design efforts, which meant balancing the tedious work of keyframing with the big-picture stress of tight deadlines. I was a fan of the ‘fast-paced environment’ cliché because it was actually true—I functioned better when the pressure was on.
I didn’t just hide behind a monitor, though. I grabbed cameras, sat in on edits, and worked with the Graphic Design team to make sure our videos didn’t go rogue visually. I had thick skin for feedback and a low tolerance for bad design. At the end of the day, I just wanted to make cool stuff that helped people meet Jesus.
Video Production Manager & Senior Animator
November 2018 – February 2025
Lakepointe Church
We drove 1,660 miles from California. One minute I was managing the production pipeline—wrangling schedules, putting out fires, and making sure the team wasn’t drowning in work.
The next minute, I was heads-down in After Effects, obsessing over keyframes and visual polish. I bridged the gap between ‘we need this done now’ and ‘we need this to look amazing.’ It was a balancing act of logistics and artistry, ensuring we hit our deadlines with enough margin for coffee breaks.

Monterey Church – California
Don’t let the title fool you. In a small church setting, ‘Director’ didn’t mean I had a large staff—it meant I wore every hat in the closet.
If it involved a pixel or a decibel, it was my responsibility. I was the graphic designer, social media manager, and webmaster during the week, and the audio producer, photographer, and videographer on the weekends.
Since I couldn’t run every console simultaneously, I became a teacher. I recruited and trained teams of volunteers, turning everyday people into a capable production crew. It was the ultimate rodeo in media and production, requiring me to be an expert in everything so people could find hope, community, and life change.
Marketing & Media Administrator
2016 – 2017
Terra San Nicolas Transactions
I learned that in Carmel-by-the-Sea, you aren’t just selling a house; you’re selling a lifestyle.
I designed marketing materials for high-end luxury real estate, which meant ‘good enough’ was never an option. I created brochures, digital ads, and social content that had to look as expensive as the properties themselves.
It was a world of high expectations and fast turnarounds. I catered to top-tier agents who needed their brands to be flawless, ensuring every font choice and photo edit screamed ‘luxury’ before it ever hit the printer.
I’ve still never sat in a Ferrari though.
Lead Media & Graphic Designer
2010 – 2014
Monterey Church – California
The place that started it all. I was responsible for the visual voice of the church, handling everything from sermon series graphics to the media playback during services.
The role even took me to Virginia for a season to help plant a second campus. It was a crash course in launching something from scratch—taking the culture and systems we built at home and translating them to a completely new context. It taught me early on that design isn’t just about making things look good; it’s about solving problems.
